About me

Born and raised in the Netherlands, I was trained as a biologist at the University of Utrecht. In 2006 I received my PhD in virology from the University of Amsterdam. Later that year, I moved to the UK to work as a research fellow at the Sir William Dunn school of Pathology, University of Oxford. In 2009, I enrolled in the fast-track medicine programme of Magdalen College, University of Oxford.
